Attention to detail is lacking very much in this hotel. I have stayed here multiple times over the years and have come accustom to the same repeat issues. I have stayed on different floors in different rooms and suites. 1. Room cleanliness and general housekeep is subpar. Every single day, at least one thing is forgotten. Toiletries, a towel, bar or tea items, trash, laundry, fresh toilet paper, etc. The floors are carpet, and noticeably dirty. The flooring in the bathrooms are noticeably dirty and not properly scrubbed. The showers often show slime or what appears to be possible mold. The desks are not ever wiped down. The glass top very easily shows smudge. Housekeeping time is incredibly inconsistent. They could arrive at 10 am one day, and 4 pm the next day. I often have to call on evenings for replacements or refills of items. 2. There are loud noises at very inconsiderate times. What sounds like loud vacuuming was heard at both 5 am and 7:30 pm, both times where guests are often resting. It is so loud that it woke me up through my foamies, which block out most noise very well. This was a complaint from multiple colleagues on multiple floors. 3. Breakfast is said to open at 6 am sharp every morning. When I have arrived at 5:55 for early departure days, not only are the tables not set, but food is still being put out past 6 am. Tables are not set with condiments, plates, and general necessities. Food is always a hit or miss. Water is often not brought to the tables due to forgetfulness. 4. The front desk in the lobby has always been and always will be ridiculously slow. I have never stayed in a hotel that takes so long to check in and out. This has always been the case. EDIT: This has been my 7th stay here out of necessity alone. The hotel check in and check out is by far the slowest I have ever experienced in any country and any hotel ever. To the point that it’s aggravating. Massive training or a different system is mandatory. 5. Staff are very friendly. These are the kindest staff out of any establishment I have ever stayed at. Overall, although the hotel maintains nice appearances, and the staff are very kind, the actual maintenance of the room itself are so below par that I would not recommend this location if you are looking for comfort.
