We stayed at the Aureo Beach Resort for the weekend and while it's not bad, it's certainly not as impressive as I had anticipated. The best part about the resort is undoubtedly the location. Situated by the beach, it offers stunning views and a private beachfront which is ideal for those who need an escape from city life. The resort’s ground is beautifully kept, making for pleasant strolls around the area. The rooms are spacious with a minimalist design that I appreciated. The large windows also provided an abundance of natural light and lovely views. Food variety is quite extensive, offering a blend of local and international dishes but the taste failed to hit the mark. The breakfast buffet was quite monotonous and lacked the quality I’d expect for the price we were paying. The service was a hit and miss. Some of the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to attend to our needs, while others seemed uninterested and lacked promptness. One of the biggest downfalls of this resort is its price. Compared to the service and overall experience, it's quite expensive. We've stayed at similar beachfront properties which were better value for money. In conclusion, Aureo Beach Resort has its charm with its beachfront location and spacious rooms but the cleanliness, hit-and-miss service, unimaginative food, and high price point dampened the overall experience. I think there are better options available which provide better value for money.
