Admittedly, it looked a bit garish on the pictures and in the lobby. What didnt help was that some moustachioned suited man not capable of the German or English language tried to shoo us away from the drive when we pulled up and unloaded our bags, False starts aside, this is a comfy place for a few seaside days without too much luxury. ||||Rooms were on the small side, and not everyone may take to the nylon-ey yellow-orange colour scheme and plastic bathroom appliances, but everything is clean and functional, there's enough room to store clothes, there's coffee and tea, and a small balcony to every room. Mattresses are comfortable and bedlinen is thick comfortable cotton. Wifi was free and working well on our floor. ||||Breakfast buffet is humongous and of reasonable quality - yes, the coffee could be fresher, the waffles crispier, but there are tons of choices and the quality os okay. ||||Now, some other things in the hotel require attention for this to be a better rating. 18 EURO per day for a car parking space adjacent to the hotel? Please! There is no such thing as free parking in the centre, but go 200m to the public ( also monitored) car park and you pay 30 zloty which is about third. ||||The spa is okay but pedestrian. Two tiny saunas, no cold pool, only some rather rubbish showers to cool down, no steam room. The pool is about 10m long, overheated and overchlorinated and not suitable to swim. I did not try any of the spa offers but when there are massage salons and beauty parlours all around, you don't really need to.
