I went there for health reasons. I started with the vegetable and fruit diet. The food was really amazing, especially considering the limitation of food. Possibly as near to fine dining as you can get on this particular highly-restricted diet. The quality of vegetables was very high and the cook was brilliant - we had about four dishes in each meal and I ate the best tomatoes I've ever tasted in my life, so even a simple dish could be great. I wasn't hungry, but I did however find myself sleeping all day, so I changed to the 1200 calorie diet, which was nice enough, but I wish in hindsight that I'd stuck it out with the vegetable diet as it takes time for the body to adapt to it. I enjoyed the swimming pool and saunas. There was no Jacuzzi, but my package included two hydrotherapy treatments and one massage. I don't recommend the massage at all. My visit included a water workout every day, which was very good, though a bit early (8 a.m.). There were outdoor exercises too, which were very good, but I was just a bit lazy and most days we walked to the beach instead - which wasn't far.||English is scarcely spoken in this town - German is the second language, so I will brush up on my German next time. One of the receptionists spoke some English and I got by with my Google translator, plus I was holidaying with two Polish friends, who helped out a lot. The staff were all lovely. It's a fairly small hotel, which I prefer, so in a short space of time everyone seemed to know I was English.||The owner visited on our last day and spoke to us (he knows English) and his aim is to have the best food for this diet in Poland. It is the same as a famous diet by a Polish doctor, but for some reason it isn't on her site. I visited a similar spa earlier in the year, where the food was a bit bland and repetitive and Willa Alexander is in another ballpark, so I think he may well achieve his goal.
