I booked room after "full renovation". The room was cold, heaters were not working and AC was not giving the hot air - outside the temperature was between 4-10 degree. The windows are not good isolated so you can constantly hear the trams downstairs even on the 5th floor - cannot imagine how loud it gets on the lowest floors. Big plus was a breakfast, really excellent, but 75zł per person it is a little bit absurd. However the worst part of the experience was a stuff - once I collected the keys from the reception, no one told me where I can find elevators, where is the breakfast area NOTHING. I understand that it is difficult to keep the good stuff, but having a right people as a front desk it is a key. Once I asked for a free parking the reception man answer "but you don't need to stay i free one, if you have a business trip you should park on the paid one in the shop mall". Can you imagine? Really dear mercury, stop hiring kids, invest in good stuff!! But that not all, after the first night my room was not clean, so we call reception around 3pm that till now no one came to clean my room, they told me someone will come. I left the room and came back at 9pm and guess what, NO ONE CLEAN OUR ROOM, so I called the reception again and said that no one cleaned the room, so the offered to bring me new towels. I mean you are a corporate hotel and cannot organize the proper cleaning or make reception people communicated with the cleaning stuff? It was my first and for sure last stay in Mercury hotel, very bad experience, never again!
