Very nice, small home-ilke hotel in a quiet neighborhood 15-20min walk from the city center. Very clean and comfortable. Staff should pay more attention to the service, but if you ask for anything they react smoothly and flexibly. Great breakfast with local products. You may not like that you have to pay extra for the (good) coffee, but it's only PLN 3 more. Definitely good value for money. Overall very good experience. Highly recommended.||Zakopane surrounded by Tatra mountains is an amazing destination all year round, but avoid high season: July-August when it's crowded far beyond any limits.
Stayed here over New Year for a family break and a bit of skiing. Location is good in a quiet part of Town but still within a 10/15 min walk of the centre. Great location for Nosal ( beginners slope ) but taxi to better pistes ( approx £5 ).||Family room on second floor was clean and well presented with a nice open view (r9). |Very good breakfast and ate in twice in the restaurant which was fine and convenient but no more than adequate. Could only buy wine by the glass, not bottle which was a pain.||Kettle/crockery/fridge in room but no tea/coffee/milk provided which was disappointing, espec. on arrival. No soap/shampoo provided either but plenty of clean towels.||Good tip for a family New Year...popular hill overlooking the town only 5 mins away and great view of the fireworks!||In all, a nice well run hotel at good value but a little more attention to the little extras would make it a great recommendation.||||
