I just stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Isla Verde for two nights and had a wonderful time. I believe I was checked in by Joyce who was lovely and helped with a smile throughout the process. The room was definitely larger than average and they accommodated my two bed request as I was staying with my brother. The room was very clean with lots of natural light. The pool area isn't huge but fine for our needs (one larger pool and one smaller). The beach is quite pretty. Fernando who is responsible for the pool area is a gem. Totally positive, helpful and a colorful personality. Loved him. I had a slight issue with the bill as I was checking out due to a misunderstanding on my part (my brother placed an order for food that i was unaware of which then caused a different issue). I'm sorry I didn't get his name but the general manager kindly assisted with the issue and took care of it very promptly and professionally. I really appreciated his help and the ease with which he handled it. For a Courtyard it was a great place and I would definitely return! (I have platinum status with Marriott and travel a great deal so have stayed at many, many hotels.) Well done Courtyard Isla Verde!
