I’m here at the moment and having been a chief for over 30 years and in the hospitality industry I can honestly say the standard of service and food selection as certainty dropped,I no it’s the end of the season and the hotel is due to close but standards shouldn’t slip .the children are looked after very well but the evening entertainment for adults is very poor compared to a lot of 5 star hotels, temperature controls are not done on any food on any hot plates so it only the over lights and they don’t keep food hot at all ,food is just sat there all evening and it’s dry cold and dried up, Another thing that worries me is you come to this hotel and got reduced mobility lifts are rubbish and then if there’s a fire how does a disabled person get down because there’s no way they can use a fire escape , the quiet pool is lovely and the rooms are brilliant but the busy pools there’s loads of wasps everywhere and think some staff could do with more training in hospitality. So enjoyed my break but don’t think I would return soon think there needs to improve a few things for next season and there’s always room for improvement in the hospitality business and remember first impressions count especially when dealing with customers expecting 5 star service from a 5 star hotel ,
