This was not my first choice but one that was available. |My first and main issue is the false information on their website. |1- The website says: "All 9 rooms and 2 suites LBV House Hotel, ... have a balcony with panoramic views over the river or the slopes..." Our room did have a balcony but no view at all. We were facing a high stone wall (to hide the abandoned building behind). See the photos in this review of the actual view. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was advised that I picked a cheaper room in the back and the two rooms in the back do not have a view. Well, the website says that ALL ROOMS have a panoramic view. In addition, I went back to the booking page and the there is NO MENTION of rooms being in the back or the front. The balcony never has sun at any time during the day.|2- The room description also says that rooms have a mini-fridge. Ours did not have one. After my complaint, they brought one to my room. Problem is, the room is so small that there is no space to put it. So they put it the the small space in the closet. Problem is, because of the moulding at the bottom of the closet, it is difficult to open the fridge door. In the room description on the booking page, they say that the room has a mini-bar. We got a fridge but that is not quite a mini-bar. So, another lie.|3- Not totally a lie but an exaggeration. The website says "...its location, being part of the terraced vineyards and the landscape with its schist walls..." It is not part of the vineyards. While there are vineyards outside of the village, the hotel is smack in the middle of the village with an abandoned building above, a trucking company below it and residences on the sides.|4- Rooms are said to include "amenities" . I am not sure what this is suppose to include but it sounds like they are referring to toiletries. Toiletries are actually the bare minimum with a shower gel dispenser in the shower and a couple of small soap bar on the sink. It has been a long time since I have been to a hotel that did not even provide shampoo.|5- There is no mention on the website about the size of the rooms but they are very small. On some photos of the website, you only see the beds and one can assume that this is only part of the room but it is not. There is no place for the luggage. If you need something, you open your suitcase on the bed then put the suitcase away (under a small table). The closet is very small and has three drawers. Not practical at all. |6- One good thing for some people is that they have a garage. But if you don't, understand that the hotel is rather hill on the hill. It is quite a trek from the train station. The day before our departure, we asked the hotel to book us a taxi for the next morning. They were unable to get us one.|On the positive, the shower water is warm and the wifi signal is adequate. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited but this is understandable given that the hotel only has 11 rooms. however the orange juice was very watery.|I travel a lot I am usually pretty good at picking hotel but I made a huge mistake with this one due to the website being a lie.
