The hotel is a bit outdated. It is big, but there are only ~10 parking spots. There is an overflow parking but it is a steep walk to get there. Staff was friendly and helpful. The gym cannot be called a gym, the equipment is very limited. The food is average. You can walk the PR19, it starts from the hotel but is very steep. You should rent a car if you stay there, because the hotel is located a bit remote.

The rooms are old-timey, but good. Views from the apartments are magnificent(not sure about hotel room views). The hotel is 500m above sea level. And the location is remote. You need a car to get anywhere. Walking to the nearby town Prazeres still feels a bit like climbing. But it's quiet and serene. Loved it.
