Great accommodation. Our room although small was really well designed, quiet, very comfortable and perfectly clean. Fantastic location in the old town. We walked everywhere in Chaves for days. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and included local pastries. Wifi was strong and reliable. In my opinion, the best place to stay in Chaves. Loved it.
I loved how the classy Grande Hotel de Chaves was transformed into a modern and practical hotel. I was truly impressed how the archaeological findings from Roman and medieval times are now visible in the hotel lower floor through the glassy pavement in the breakfast room. In addition, the hotel is near the roman Trajano bridge and other historic places, not to mention excellent restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel
