My third 2 star hotel in my European trip. But I feel this is a 3 star disguised as a 2 star because the location is great, rooms are not too small nor shabby. Breakfast is still quite sparse and car park is also very challenging. But it’s proximity to all the major tourist sites in Coimbra more than makes up for it. There are road works right in front of hotel but they only work during day time so no noise problems in the evenings. Just inconvenience when you are driving into and out of hotel carpark.

Hotel has nice rooms at good prices. Staff is efficient and attentive. The breakfast is a great deal. Location is unbeatable.
