Fantastic hotel, incredible friendly & helpful staff. We were upgraded on our arrival without asking to a stunning suite. The food is incredible and has such a large variety of options for breakfast. The gardens are a delight to see, so green and lush. There is a seawater pool, spa, two restaurants, access to the sea, and a jacuzzi, to name just a few of the facilities. The hotel is situated close to Funchal Town and is central for stunning restaurants. It's a great place to stay.

The food is delicious and light. I recently stayed at the Cliff Bay hotel on Madeira, and I was absolutely blown away. The hotel is located in a stunning setting, right on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. The hotel itself is very luxurious, with spacious rooms and impeccable service. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable stay. The hotel has a variety of amenities, including several swimming pools, a spa, and a fitness center. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars on-site, so you won't have to go far for a bite to eat or a drink. I especially enjoyed the food at the hotel. The restaurants offer a variety of cuisines, and the dishes are all made with fresh, local ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were cooked perfectly. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Cliff Bay hotel. It is a truly luxurious and relaxing place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway.
