This hotel is right in the city centre, perfect location. We did not expect much for such low price but it turned out to be a good value for money. Yes, the rooms are a bit worn, especially the bathrooms look awful, but beds are comfy and breakfast is included! Indeed it is continental breakfast with 2 rolls (fresh and fluffy!), butter, jam and a hot drink (tea, coffee, hotchoco), however they are normal quality and enough to start your day. I also need the mention the lady who served us at breakfast and reception, se was super lovely and helpful - when we arrived earlier, she tried to get us a room which is ready so we could go up. We were also be able to leave our bags in the laundry room until we left to the airport. Overall great experience, perfect for a short stay.
You get what you pay for, which is near bare minimum. The location is excellent, room is clean, though the rest was questionable. Had an unpleasant experience checking in, with the older gentleman yelling angrily in Portuguese at me and his colleague when he had trouble finding my reservation. Don’t expect more than one pillow, or any soap in the bathroom. Our room faced the inner courtyard of dumpsters, it was incredibly hot and when I asked if there was a fan for the room, I was looked at as if I was crazy. Tried to play a balance of getting some air flow into the room without pulling in the scent of garbage as well. Found myself searching for other hotel options at 11pm. Nothing like an incredibly uncomfortable night to get you out of bed in the morning.
