Maybe the best place we have ever been to. The rustic villa and the garden around it have a very serene feel. Our room was very clean and spacious and the housekeeping ladies were very friendly and helpful with lots of tips. Our favorite was the beautiful view from porch.
This place is such a gem! If you are someone that likes the comfort of a hotel, maybe it is not for you. But if you want to have a experience to stay in a house from 1826 and go back in history be my guest! It is located on a hill about 10 minutes driving from the downtown, it can be tricky if you are by foot, also if driving be careful cause the entrance to the car park is also tricky.. demands a bit of experience like many of the narrow streets and hills around the island. Our room was comfortable, everything simple, but cozy. Breakfast was delicious, nothing fancy, no warm food, mostly bread and fruits, coffee, tea. But we were very happy with that. Margarida is super helpful and friendly! The garden is something else, and the sea view is stunning! Self-chek was also great. no issues with that. great value of money for sure. Embrace the full experience and you will enjoy it the most.
