Had a wonderful stay at Se Boutique Hotel. The location was central with beautiful views of the cathedral. Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. All of the staff were helpful and welcoming but I must give a specific mention to Priscilla. Priscilla was the most welcoming and friendly person. She was so helpful everyday and printed bus timetables for us and gave lots of brilliant advice. Also during our stay we had an issue with a mobile phone being stolen and once again Priscilla was there to give practical help and was also very supportive and kind. She is a brilliant employee and the hotel is lucky to have someone like her.

Exceptional all the way! The staff is genuinely kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for Funchal. We were able to walk everywhere and be close enough to city center, old town, the pier, and lots of shopping. For New Years Eve..the rooftop bar is THE BEST! We could see the fireworks around the entire island.
