The Vila is conveniently close to Lido, Funchal's beach neighborhood, which is a plus. There are excellent links if you wish to leave for the city center, whether you want to go by bus or cab. The plus is that you will undoubtedly enjoy breakfast with a view despite having to climb a steep slope to get there from the bus stops. Speaking of breakfast, it is a little silly that you have to wait in line to be served rather than handling the situation yourself. Yet the staff is warm and accommodating. The accommodations are a little dated but tidy and adequate for a restful night's sleep after a long day. Moreover, a swimming pool is also available on site.
Nice place , the service was excellent, the host is amazing and the pool is nice , small but nice. Very clean place also.
