First of all, the villas are spacious, bright and airy. The resort itself was very quiet (July), which is perfect for us. No entertainment, no loud youngsters. Staff in reception are friendly and helpful. They arranged several trips for us. We are seriously considering coming back. BUT: Breakfast is average, not at all the fantastic food we read about on a particular holiday website. Service at dinner time was extremely slow, even with a near-empty restaurant. When we indicated we were ready to order, we were told to wait “because she wasn’t ready yet”. The jacuzzi is not intended for children under a certain age but judging by the colour of the water (yellow), it is being used by small children. No supervision there and at the pool. Young lady in the gym had no idea how any of the equipment worked. Gym is cramped, equipment set up with hardly any space in-between. No towels, no water, just a few paper tissues to wipe down equipment. In the two weeks we stayed here, the downstairs floor (not the upper floors) was swept once; all other days they were merely mopped, with hairs, dirt, etc. being pushed around but not removed. Also: I would not want to open the sofa bed in the living room, one peek between the pillows and we noticed all sorts of dirt, hairs, wrappers and unmentionables. Various broken lights, bins and other items. But you don’t really want to spend your holiday complaining at reception all the time, do you. It shouldn’t be up to the guests to point all these things out. Last but not least: crazy light switches and no locks on any of the bathrooms doors ;)
