Extremely disappointing experience. Desperately short of good staff who care about their jobs infact I would say half the staff should not be in the service industry. Expect a towel fight for a sun bed and then watch 80% of them remain empty at any one time of the day. The none adult pools are completely uncontrolled so pretty dangerous places to be. You have to watch your kids the whole time to make sure no one jumps on their head or they get smashed in the head with a heavy (none appropriate) football for example. The food is fantastic. The actual physical finish and quality of furniture etc is very good. It’s tragic that this hotel has all it needs to give a 5 star experience but for the staff which make it more comparable to a 3 star (at best). Such a waste. Location is good. Lots of Ubers to get around but that’s easy.

This was our first holiday abroad with our son (22 months old) this was booked through Tui. The staff at the hotel have been amazing throughout our weeks stay, nothing was to much. FOOD & DRINK The range of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic, with everything to suit all tastes. Also included within our weeks stay was 3 booking at the on-site three restaurants, Surf & Turf, Piri-Piri and Luigi Restaurant. My only advice is book as soon as you can as the early table reservation go quick, this is essential if you have young children that need to go to bed early. You can eat all day and food is always available when the main restaurant is closed, hotdog/burger van opens around 11am for those that have missed breakfast and the sardine bar has buffet lunch to pick from as and when needed. Room service is also available but we never used this service. Soft drinks and coffee’s available 24/7 self service The Bars are open most of the day and alcohol/cocktails are always available, some cocktail are not included unless you you’ve upgraded SWIMMING POOLS The four pools on site are not heated and I can only report that in September/October you just had to go for it and jump in! On site is a spa and you are able to take the children along between the hours of 8-11am and 1-4pm, the spa has a smaller pool which is much warmer. The spa also included sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. Treatments are also available at a cost. KIDS CLUB On site is a kids club with children’s shallow swimming pool and in pool activities. Parents are still able to sunbath around the pool as sun loungers are available. In the Kids club you can do drawing, bouncy castle, ball pit, bikes, crazy golf. ROOMS The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towel provided each day. Our room had a 42inch Tv and Wi-Fi was good throughout site. Our villa was near the reception/ blue crab bar. Our only comment was that having a young one we could hear the live music etc in the evening from our room, some nights it was very loud. The beach was a 10-15min walk via the hotel walk but we used the free hotel train that went every hour from the reception carpark. We would definitely be coming back again as it was an amazing experience
