TLDR: This is definitely not a 4 star place. At the most, it's an average 3 star. The only thing that distinguishes Vitor's Plaza from other 3 star hotels, is the amount of activities they have at night. Other than that, it seems like they achieved the minimum to get a 4 star classification. The gym has 2 (not 3 as they mention) weight machines. One of them is really old, and the other is a bench rack. However, if you are a 80 kg > bencher, there are not enough plates for you. The mini golf is really ok, probably the best of the spaces. The pool water is never clear, but I think that it probably is due to the amount of sun cream people use. The rooms are nice. You get a spacious bedroom, as well as a joint kitchen and living room. However, the ACs are really old, as well as the TV and the Fridge. We paid for a couple bedroom, but all they did was join two twin beds. The worst part of the experience was the staff. I'm sure that they will answer to this comment with the typical "our staff is always compliment", but really don't believe that. The peak of it was done by a tall thin boy working at the restaurant in the dinner. He didn't say a word when we sat, when he brought the menu,... . Only when we asked a question he answered in the most rude way. Be ready to pay 5 times the retail price for a can of ice tea/coke (0.65 € retail vs 3.10€), 6 times for a 0.5 L water (0.50€ retail vs 2.90€). I'm sure they are gonna argue that it is the typical value in Algarve, but that is also not true. In Vilamoura marina, you can buy a can of coke for 2.50. In a marina, near the sea!!! The hotel is located more than 2 km away from the closest beach (they say 1km but that is in a straight line, don't get fooled)
