Our friend booked this hotel for everyone while we visited Porto and it turned out to be a great option. It was clean, quiet and had friendly staff who spoke English. The complimentary breakfast was good too. It was a great location and we were able to walk every where we wanted to go. The design was unique as they kept the original stones and it had a little garden as well. Great option to stay while in Porto.

We loved our stay here. This hotel is the perfect combination of historic charm and modern comforts. The older part of the building has a unique history and style while the accommodations are modern. The guest rooms are very spacious with really nice bathrooms. Super great hot water and pressure!! I think the beds and bedding might be some of the best we’ve experienced. There is a little patio for standing and fresh air. Our view was really nice. The AC was Great. The rooms has a Coffee maker, hair dryer, plenty of closet space, hangers, and bathroom amenities (the bathroom amenities are fine basic lotion, soap and a combo shampoo body wash). They offer a delicious breakfast daily. Hot and Cold items with great variety and all made fresh daily. They have an “honest” bar with snacks and beverages - alcoholic and non. It is open till 2am and was very convenient for us The location of the hotel was perfect. It is quieter than the Porto side and felt like an oasis from the bustling streets. Our favorite part was the staff. Each person we met was incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable,, and so kind. They went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed. Gonzalo and Rebecca at reception were Great with directions and had helpful tips. The ladies at breakfast we very sweet and attentive. Housekeeping was very good. Olivia the hotel manager gave us perosnql recommendations for dinner and Port tatsing. Both were highlights of our trip. There were two other gentleman at reception that were really helpful . We felt very looked after and would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return to Porto and this is definitely where we would stay.
