We found this hotel to be very relaxing and the room was great. The public areas were spacious and clean. We had an evening meal which was OK, nothing special, the desserts were the best but mains average. The hotel is a fair walk from the river and wouldn't recommend the walk back as it is all uphill, however only 4 euro in a taxi. Unfortunately we left a very small bag at the reception desk when we left for the airport. So we contacted the hotel and enquired if they could sent it to our home address which they agreed to, which was great, or so we thought. The bag weighed no more the 250g and was a large letter size at most. I looked at some prices and 24 euro was sufficient to cover costs for a 3 day service with insurance included. So when they requested 76.16 euro to send it I was very disappointed. Why would the hotel want to rip off an IHG member so much, over 300%. This spoiled memories of our stay here and I hate getting ripped off especially as a loyal customer and member. Very disappointing IHG !!!

Room was good but location is very far from anywhere worth going. Breakfast room was a disaster! Line up for coffee every morning 20 people deep! Get rid of the nescafe machines they're not working for the crowds!
