We stayed in this hotel twice this year. The hotel is really beautiful, modernly decorated and exudes luxury. The staff is extremely friendly and approachable, they have an answer to every question and meet every request. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, each room has a mini bar with refreshments, as well as free coffee. Some rooms also have a balcony, both times we got one. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is very close, for the city center, Kalemegdan, Belgrade Waterfront, St. Sava Temple, you don't need a car at all, everything is within walking distance. But the environment of the hotel in the street is not the best. There are many excellent restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel staff will be happy to give you recommendations. However, the hotel has a few downsides that I think should be fixed considering the high ranking it has. In the shower cabin there is a bottle with a liquid that is both shower gel and hair shampoo. There are no small bottles of shower gels and separate hair shampoos in the bathrooms. We have stayed in other hotels of this rank in Belgrade and elsewhere in the world, and every hotel of this rank has this. Another thing is breakfast. Everything is very tasty and fresh, but the choice is poor. The third thing is very poor sound insulation. When we were in the room on the third floor, there was always noise from the door slamming, noise from other rooms, if the TV is a little louder in the next room, you can also hear it, flushing of the toilets. And when we were in one of the two rooms on the ground floor, the same things were also heard, plus the radio music at the reception that was on all night and the sound of plates clinking at breakfast, since the breakfast is a few meters away from those rooms on the ground floor. As for the parking, the hotel has parking in the back of the building as well as a few parking spots on the street in front of the hotel. Sometimes it happens that there is no room for everyone, so you leave your car in the middle of the parking lot, thus blocking other guests cars. In that case, you leave the car key at the reception. In my case, the hotel staff removed the car in the middle of the night, so when a spot became available they parked it in that free spot. But on New Year's, a situation happened that a guest blocked our car in that way, so the lady from the reception called him and woke him up to remove the car, that was in the morning hours after New Year's Eve. I think it's a tricky situation and I would hate if that happened to me. I think this is something that deserves improvement in a hotel like this. But, on the other hand, this is one of the few hotels in the city center that has its own parking, and it is included in the price of the night, so there is no extra charge. That's a big plus. The hotel is worth a visit, but with the mentioned downsides, I think the price is still too high.
