Definitely a pleasant stay at Barbara (beautiful view), there are some things that need improvement: the stairs on the access to the sea are extremely slippery and dangerous, you need to place a fixed rubber rug on the final ones. Some sun umbrellas need replacement. For hotel customers I wouldn't charge parking. Overall recommended for a short stay of max 2 nights

Rooms are small, and the coffee isn't great, but everything else is exceptional. Great views, safe parking on-site, delicious restaurant, beautiful seaside walk to Piran town square. Cold split ACs, comfortable beds, dog friendly, big breakfast buffet with plenty of German früstuck items like smoothies, müsli, sausage, eggs, salmon. It's very quiet, with mostly older groups of German and Slovenian tourists, but a few young outdoorsy people too. The servers and staff all speak English, Italian, Slovene, and German very well. You can rent water activity gear and buy shoes, swimwear and floaties on site. A sup board is 14€ per hour to rent, scuba lessons for beginners are 75€, and scuba gear is 35€. Very clean air, no cruise ships or heavy car traffic. You can see the stars and galaxy at night. There is another seaside bar/restaurant a few meters away that has much better espresso and cheaper drinks. And, of course, if you walk to Piran, you'll find high-quality quality restaurants, bars, and cafes. Drive carefully. We've seen 2 cars with flat tires
