The Boathouse Phuket

We visited The Boathouse originally in November/December 2022 and loved it so much we booked to go back for our honeymoon. It really does feel like stepping into paradise.||||We had a Deluxe Sea View Room which was the perfect size for us and felt very comfortable. A very large comfy bed, great sized bathroom with complimentary bath robes, beach bag and flip flops.||||The restaurant is fabulous, you can sit right on the edge of the beach overlooking the sea and really enjoy your morning coffee in peaceful paradise, or a fabulous evening meal watching the tide come in.||||The hotel is based in a corner of Kata beach and feels very quiet and exclusive, it is perfect for those that want to experience Phuket but not the crowds. The restaurant is top notch so i recommend you book so you get a good seat. It really is the best place to eat in Kata so it gets busy.||||There is a small infinity pool, which is perfect for cooling down in, if you want to swim you need only walk 25 steps and you are at the beach and in the warm sea. There is a surf school next door so if you want to give the waves a go you can do this easily.||||Get a snorkeling mask as there are great places to snorkel right in front of the hotel as well.||||There is a new bar and spa at the hotel which just opened in our last few days, the bar is fabulous and you can get great food by the pool or relax in the evening. You can also get a great massage just by the pool or even visit their in house gym.||||This hotel is amazing, we have been twice and I am sure we will be back again. The staff are so welcoming and really care that you are having a great visit. They show interest in you and it always feels like a personal service.||||So if you want to visit paradise, have access to the local nightlife but not be disturbed by it, and be pampered, the Boathouse is definitely the place to go.||||||||
