The Thong Tarin Hotel in the center of Surin, Thailand is a beautiful place to stay in this mid sized city. The hotel is conveniently located within minutes of the railway station and is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has several dining options including a Beer Garden themed outdoor restaurant with live music. They also have a Chinese restaurant. The hotel's architecture is classic western and it's both elegant and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well appointed with a TV. The bathrooms are furnished with a large walk in shower, sink and toilet. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Wifi coverage at times was a little spotty. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was well stocked with both western and Thai fare and the food was delicious. I throughly enjoyed my two day stay at this hotel.
