Reviews based on Food
Booked an all inclusive holiday in May half term with TUI at this hotel and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. After reading mixed reviews about it, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was all great! Never the same food, every day something different and delicious with plenty of varieties for even the most pickiest eater. Loads of things to do at the resort and the animation team was amazing! The rooms clean and spacious( we stayed in Manar2) and the staff are truly amazing! Not enough words of praise! 100% recommend.
We stayed at the Manar Hotel for a week at the end of September and loved our time there. The staff were super friendly and kind, the hotel itself was big and spotlessly clean and the facilities were very impressive. 7 water slides, 3 good sized outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, right on the beach, tennis courts, a sports bar a gym, a football pitch, archery, etc. We never had to look for a sunbed or wait for a water slide. The bar and restaurant was always well staffed so always got seen to very quickly by the very nice staff. The view from the balcony was incredible. Palm trees and sea everywhere we looked. The location is about 15 minutes taxi ride to Hammamet and 15 minutes the other way to Nabeul. We were blown away by how good the hotel was. The only point of improvement I would say is that the quality of the food could be improved. There was a good selection and the pastries and deserts were always really good but they maybe could improve on the quality of some of the meat dishes as the meat often tasted quite tough or fatty. That was quite minor in the grand scheme of things and I would definitely go back here again.
