The worst accommodation of my life. It does not correspond to a 5 star hotel at all. The rooms have significant maintenance issues (door frames cracked and separated from the wall, chipped paint in the sleeping areas, water leaking from the toilet) and there are no amenities typical of a 5-star hotel (shower cap, cotton buds.... ) In the pool there is only one toilet for men and one for women. There are no toilets or showers on the beach. In the main restaurant you have a reserved place for your meal if you tip the waiter. Otherwise, the law of the jungle applies... A small dining room for more than 900 guests, where you have to be patient to get a seat and wait up to 15 minutes for an empty plate. At breakfast, stir your coffee with a wooden stick, there are no teaspoons!!! You can also use a wooden spoon for dessert or ice cream, you can get real ones against payment of the tip. The staff, well, like the teaspoons, if you tip them (daily) you're king. Otherwise a simple lump. The only ones who are friendly, attentive and professional (without prior payment) are the waiters in the lobby bar, pool bar and on the beach. Despite the ban on reserving sun loungers by the pool or on the beach before 8am, no measures are taken or respected. Get up early or stay up late, you have space. The cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. And what ultimately ruined our stay was that there was a theft in our room. As the safe didn't work we left our money in a wallet in the inside pocket of one suitcase and that in turn in another. After being out all day we came back to the room and we found the clothes on the suitcase had been tampered. We were missing €250 and a pack of cigarettes. We went to reception and the reception manager came with security and maintenance staff to go through all our belongings to make sure the money was not 'forgotten' anywhere in the bedroom. Obviously not! They didn't offer us any solution and also refused to call the police. We had to go to the police office on our own to report the theft. Be careful all people who want to stay in this hotel!!!! In short, avoid staying at this hotel.

I believe that from all the hotels, this one was the best. The road from Monastir Airport to the hotel was kind of desolating, but when we arrived everything changed. We were greated by a valet who took our luggage and showed us to the front desk for check in. The guy ar the check in gave us a form to fill în, and, while doing that we got some very tasty drinks. After that, the valet showed us to the bungalow (407). We were blown away by the view! All this greenery, so well preserved! The pools and the beach were realy close! So were the restaurant and The terrace. The food was very good, everyone could have something to eat. The waiters in The restaurant, the pool bar and beach bar war busy as bees and very welcoming and polite. So were the maids (loved the flower detail laid on the bed). The entertainment team was great, always announcing us The programs. I especilally loved Vicky! It was really clean! The pools were great and so were the beach, the gym and the spa. The downsize... The guys at The Caicos were dumping the waste waters by the pool toilets and created an awful stench. But, knowing all that, i would still choose this hotel. It was a different experience, a very pleasant one, we had lots of fun and would gladely return. Merci pour tout, Steingerber Marhaba Thalasso!
