This is a 2 star resort, maybe 3 tops. Terrible check-in experience: we booked a standard double bed room with sea view. We received a family room with 3 single beds. We went back to the reception and asked to be given what we paid for. They gave us a family room with a double bed and two single beds. We accepted although it was not exactly what we paid for. There was no electricity in the room and waited for about one hour to be fixed, after a few trips back to the reception to remind them of the issue. The room: is OK, nice view to the sea. However, there's no minibar and fridge, no slippers, no bath robe, as you would expect at 4 star. The cleaning is good. They clean the floors, linen and towels every day. The food: not too many options and most of them disgusting. Pancakes are extremely undercooked, almost raw dough. Fresh salad with dirt on it. Service: most rude personnel I've ever seen. Always grumpy, lack of attention to details. No utensils on the table and when asking for they behave like it's not their job to sort this out. The pool is nice and clean. They offer towels for 20 dinars (I think they might pay it back at the end of the stay but the towel guy will ask to keep it as tip - which is fine I guess) The beach is terrible! Beach chairs and umbrellas are poor quality and very uncomfortable, dirty plastic tables and they are never cleaned. The sand is full of garbage and cigarettes. And they don't clean the algae, so there's a terrible smell sometimes. Location: it's a good area, there are a few shops and restaurants in walking distance. We rented a car and it was great as Tunis is 1h driving distance. Worth mentioning that the driving rules are optional. Not as bad as in Egypt for example, but still, have to be careful and expect anything at any time. It's fun to drive here tho :) All in all, the resort does not deserve 4 stars nor the price we paid. 3 stars maximum, and even less for certain aspects.
