It's a beautiful location and excellent facility. I would like to say that the front desk staff spoke English well and was helpful. But unfortunately we had a negative experience with the restaurant staff. They avoided us and were giving us bad looks. I don't know if it is because we are not locals or what. The staff really needs to work on hospitality skills. In the huge dining room, the food was beautifully laid out, but the staff didn't greet us, and we were the only people in the entire room at the time. Even though everything about the hotel seemed excellent, I would not return there for this lack of hospitality reason.

We have been coming to the hotel for 8 years (since it first opened). At first we stayed as hotel guests, now we have our own apartment in Trabzon & pay money to visit the swimming pool. We have been here for four weeks & for the past two weeks, there has been no “hot coffee “ machine by the swimming pool, so Nescafé coffee has been made cold every day. Not good for a 4/5 star hotel. Main bar man is not very friendly or apologetic! Food service by the pool is also limited. We wanted to order a club sandwich one day, but this is only available in another lobby restaurant! Why can’t they order a hot coffee or club sandwich from another area & bring it to the pool! The pool lifeguard staff are very good & helpful. Also there is no ramp access at the hotel entrance for wheelchair users! This is the only hotel in Trabzon without this facility! Very difficult having to lift a wheelchair up & down the small step outside the hotel.
