My husband and I stayed for a couple of days in DAR. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Staff was very helpful and always available. The gym is huge, clean, lots of equipment. The bar on top of the hotel has a really great vibe and beautiful views. The pool looked nice as well, but we did not get a chance to swim. Our favorite part about the stay was the breakfast. All you can eat buffet and the different types of food choices was endless.

This hotel far exceed my expectations. I travelled extensively and stayed at several hotels, however, the Hyatt Dar es salaam was the best so far. It is in a very good location, close to the airport, ferry terminal, markets, banks (lots of banks), restaurants, basically anything you need is within a very short distance. ALL the staff are excellent, very friendly, responsive to our needs. The food at the Hyatt is very delicious, because everything is made from local produce. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. one thing i didn't like the beds are very firm( i think it is an African thing) but very comfortable. so if you are used to a pillow top mattress you might not like the bed.
