This is the best hotel near the hospitals. It is always our go to when coming from out of town for days of doctor’s appointments. It’s nice and modern, very clean and homey. The staff is outstanding especially the ladies who make breakfast, they couldn’t be any sweater. They have a self serve latte machine, that is amazing when it’s working but there’s always fresh coffee when the machine is down. I love that you can get to the children’s hospital without getting back on the main road, it takes less than a minute to get there compared to 10 if you have to get on the main road with traffic.

Appears to be a newer hotel that has the potential to be great but customer service is negatively impacting it. Pris: Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast provided a variety of options to include some made to order options. Hotel is not located near the sights of Baton Rouge but it is in a safe area. Cons: My wife and I arrived to breakfast about fifteen minutes before service ended. I ordered eggs and sausage and when I asked for an additional sausage, the employee stated, "No, I will be closing soon. I had a large group earlier. " As a Marriott member who stays at a Marriott property about once a month. I was shocked. Another guest commented to me, "That was quite rude." He added that he requested his room be serviced yesterday as a result of something spilling on his bed. He stated that after being gone all day, it wasn't and he had to change / make his own bed.
