I travel the world for a living, this hotel sticks out as one of the worst. - Bed Bugs / Hotel Under Construction, NO Notifications. - My recent experience at the Hilton DoubleTree in Breckenridge, Colorado, was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, it became abundantly clear that this establishment lacks the basic standards of cleanliness and communication that one would expect from a Hilton property. - The most alarming aspect of my stay was the presence of bed bugs. Despite the hotel's supposed commitment to guest comfort and hygiene, my room was infested with these pests. The bites I sustained during my stay were not only uncomfortable but also a blatant violation of the trust one places in a reputed hotel chain like Hilton. It's shocking that a supposedly upscale hotel fails to maintain the most basic cleanliness standards, putting the health and well-being of guests at risk. - Communication from the management was another significant letdown. When I brought the issue of bed bugs to their attention, the response was dismissive and lacked any sense of urgency. It was evident that they were more concerned with brushing off the issue than addressing it promptly. The lack of transparency and accountability demonstrated by the management only exacerbated the already stressful situation. - Furthermore, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The facilities appeared outdated and poorly maintained, with worn-out carpets and peeling wallpaper. The lack of attention to detail in the upkeep of the property reflects poorly on Hilton's brand reputation. It's disheartening to see a hotel of this caliber fall so short of the standards expected from a Hilton DoubleTree. - In conclusion, my stay at the Hilton DoubleTree in Breckenridge was a complete disaster. From the bed bug infestation to the woeful communication from management and the overall lackluster state of the hotel, this experience has left me thoroughly disappointed. I would strongly advise potential guests to think twice before choosing this hotel for their stay in Breckenridge. Hilton DoubleTree should seriously reconsider its commitment to quality and guest satisfaction at this location.
