I’m a vacation club member and have visited several locations in the US. Unfortunately, this was the worst Marriott property I’ve visited. While the location is nice (right near slopes and some restaurants) there really isn’t much ‘service’ at this location. There is not a slope-facing lounge, no Marriott restaurant, no maid service in the rooms, pool and hot tubs are managed by another company, front desk people are really not that helpful, etc. don’t get me wrong, the rooms look like a vacation club room but it just didn’t feel like a service-oriented location to us. We called for towels and coffee…didn’t come the first time. The next day we asked for 4 towels and 2 coffee refills, we only received 2 towels and had to call back. Eventually we got what we needed and got some skiing in, beds were fine…humidifier was nice for dry air. I hope this is helpful at setting expectations…the location is good in relation to the lifts and mountain. But this place is more of a place to sleep than the normal Marriott vacation experience.

Gorgeous, clean, and beautiful scenery. My family spent 4 nights at Marriott Mountain Valley Resort. I have always liked the vibes and energy from Colorado resort towns. Breckenridge is one of my favorites. The resort staff are just amazing. They were very attentive and easy to communicate. The location of the resort is superb! You are literally within a 3 minute walking distance from the lift/slope. The room was clean and just about the right size. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. You will only find a lot of tourist rated just ok restaurants around here, so why not cook for your family once or twice. The bathroom was also clean and decent size. The bathtub with Whirlpool was also great. It almost looks as if the resort just has undergone a remodeling. I got a great deal at the beginning of the year. So look for some great deals; otherwise, you will pay for it. They have very useful common areas: laundry room, pool tables, outdoor grills, pool and hot tub. I think you will really like this resort.
