There were SO MANY PEOPLE here it was simply uncomfortable. The amenities are NOT equipped to handle the amount of people. The small pool was always overcrowded, no chairs available to lounge in, sun only hits the pool area in the afternoon, and the teeny tiny hot tub was a sardine can completely stuffed to the max at all times except at 6am. On average there were 12-14 people in the teeny tiny hot tub. No exaggeration. People soaking wet ordering from the bar inside in barely there swim attire. Children running around unsupervised screaming incessantly on several occasions. For the price they charge, and wow to all the charges not disclosed when booking, this should be a more upscale and calm environment. It was like Spring Break gone wild. Family edition. There are 19% fees for every single thing you purchase or do. Resort fees 35 dollars per day plus taxes. Valet fee 35 dollars per day plus taxes. No other options. You would like a snickers bar? 19% added gratuity. We were called very early our first morning there and told we had a welcome basket waiting for us. We were celebrating our anniversary so we thought wow, how sweet and special! Come to find out it was just a ploy to get us to come to the timeshare spiel. How shady and misleading is this! The beach chairs and umbrella are complimentary, but no beachside service, nor towels. We were charged additional days for valet, which we only valeted our car the first night of our stay and also had an extra car charged to our room, which we did not have. Thank goodness I documented everything and photographed our valet ticket and had my keys on me as proof I had my own car as the woman at check out did not believe me. It was completely an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience to deal with. Always photograph your valet card and screenshot when you take your car out. This is absolutely vital so you're not charged extra. Our room was lovely, and housekeeping was so nice and on top of everything! The location is exceptional... it's just everything else is seriously lacking.
