We chose this hotel for the location and it didn't disappoint. When we checked in, the front desk staff told us about self-parking around the corner at half the price of valet so we did that. It was super easy, since we left our car in the garage and walked wherever we wanted to go. We walked to the lake, passing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on the way and then walked to a bar & grill for dinner on our way back to the hotel. The next day, we walked to the Guardians stadium which was super easy. The fitness center is very nice and was being cleaned when I used it Saturday evening - the gentleman cleaning was very thorough which made me feel pretty good about the hotel cleaning practices. The breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare and very good. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

I expected more of a Hilton property located downtown proper. The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Microwaves and refrigerators are only available upon request. On the flip side, the staff is extremely delightful! The location is within walking distance of bars, quick bites, and entertainment.
