The Grand Lodge was perfect for our family hiking trip! The proximity to the mountain trails, shops and restaurants allowed us to walk everywhere we needed to go. The pool and hot tub were great to relax out after a long day. The unit we rented through Airbnb was clean and had everything we needed! FIVE STARS!
The hotel is in a great location, but is in desperate need of renovations. Our room was dark and dated and did not seem well maintained. The hotel has A/C in the hallways, and common areas, but not in the rooms which made it very difficult to cool in summer. A bright spot was the pool/hot tub area which was quite nice. Overall, the room quality was consistent with a budget hotel, but the rates are those of a luxury hotel.
