We stayed here to attend a music festival. First, if you're looking for inexpensive hotels, especially hotels under 100$ per night, you can't expect much. Pros: Location is pretty good. Close to interstate, Barnes and Noble, Syracuse, etc.. Hotel staff was friendly and responsive. Appears to be family owned. Grounds were clean. Room was reasonably clean. Mattress firm and comfortable. Room appeared to be updated recently (floor, paint, etc.) Neighborhood wasn't bad. Cons: Very thin walls- but we made due by running the fan all night. Note: Inexpensive hotels have a clientele and an aura that aren't for everyone. If you do not want to share a public accommodation with unhoused people, that says a lot about you. I didn't mind, and so because the place was well-run and clean, I did not mark down for that. I want the unhoused to be treated with dignity, however, and so if you don't care for that situation, please don't stay here.
