Staff was not cheerful or welcoming. We arrived late at night and the front desk representative disappeared from her post after we checked in. The morning of our check out, some lady from housekeeping knocked on our door so loudly at 9am. When I opened it, she just said “ok, just checking”. When I asked her what was checking, she said “nothing”. I asked her next time not to knock so loudly since my children are still sleeping. When I told the front desk about how the lady should not have knocked so loudly since my family was still asleep, she basically dismissed it. I was not happy with the service or the cleanliness of the room. All our waste baskets were dirty. It is clear they don’t wipe down the waste baskets since they all had old food morsels on the inside walls. Makes me wonder about their cleaning process. Tenants upstairs were so loud, their footsteps woke me up each morning. We had asked the front desk if they could speak to the tenants, but we didn’t receive the results to our satisfaction. It’s a shame this place carries the Hilton name. It was not what I was expecting.
