This hotel offers a great location, right off 95 between Pompano and Fort Lauderdale. Gorgeous Atrium with lush tropical plants. Breakfast buffet offered many delicious hot items. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I visited for a business meeting and needed assistance in the Club Lounge. The hotel manager, Ann, came to assist me. She went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The price is reasonable, rooms and public areas are clean and the service is great.

This is not a hotel I would expect from Marriott. The common areas were clean and the atrium area was nice. The rooms are an entirely different story. The furniture is beat up, chipped, and outdated, and in some cases repaired with an entirely different color than the actual furniture. The hotel as a whole is very outdated and from what I understand they are starting renovations. The carpet in the room was sticky in places. The curtains had food, or something on them, and holes. The AC did not work and we were sweating in bed at night. I didn't like that the living area had floor to ceiling windows that faced the inside of the hotel where people can see inside your room. They did have curtains on them but I personally did not care for that. The windows facing the inside of the hotel also remind me of windows you would see in prison, or a school. The door in the room was metal and somehow distorted so we had to slam it shut. The bathroom was nice, service from the staff (especially Roberto) was wonderful. Signs outside saying to not leave valuables in the car, and the front desk making a point to tell myself and my husband to have a safe night, was concerning.
