The only good thing about this Sheraton is the location. However, there are plenty more hotels on the beach to choose from which I will do next time I visit. I am ashamed of the amount of money I spent on this room. The ceiling had dark spots all over it, the wall was dirty with some sort of black grime, and they have roaches! I only got footage of the roach in the microwave because I didn't scream that time and scare it away. I will never again spend my hard earned money on a establishment that can't provide an environment that is as clean and better than my home. I trusted the name "Marriott" and did not look at the reviews beforehand, so shame on me. Please read them and believe them. This Sheraton needs a complete overhaul and I'm certain management has to know that the rooms are not up to par. Also the front did not inform me upon check in that I need to come down daily and get a voucher for breakfast, and one rep tol me the free age is 3 & under even though the website states 12 & under. Every hotel I stayed in always had 4 towels on deck, but this one you have to chase down housekeeping for extra. Just not satisfied at all with my stay here and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel has its' location going for it, but if it rains, like it did for me, there are no benefits to staying in this hotel for your stay. You won't want to be stuck in your room. When I arrived, my initial room had a view of a parking lot and construction. I could not confirm that without going outdoors because the windows were so filthy I could barely see outside. I requested a new room. The second room had a courtyard view and balcony which was nice. The rooms however, and the grounds in general, are dirty, old, and unkept. The fridge in my new room was dirty. I didn't feel like requesting a new one or asking to be moved AGAIN, so I just didn't use it. I am utilizing my hotspot because the ONE listed amenity, the wifi, is loading as slow as dialup, if you remember that, and is spotty at best, when it's running. I relish in the hotel experience when I travel so this was a disappointment. I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking, but can almost always go with Marriot without a hitch. Lesson learned, the hard way. It's no less pricey than the Holiday Inn resort next door my dad stayed in and they loved their room.
