Modern hotel located about 45 minutes away from downtown Miami. Stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas. Our room had a kitchenette which made some dinners very easy. There is a dining table too in the room with 2 queen beds. Stove, pots and pans as well as plates and cutlery are also available in the room. The complimentary breakfast was good though a few mornings it seemed inadequate, as in , the staff wasn't able to replenish everything in a timely manner. Mostly the main hot items were meat based which personally isn't something I liked. The only thing I didn't like was that the room wasn't cleaned daily. I left messages with the front desk a couple of mornings on our way out for the day and the room wasn't cleaned and the garbage not emptied. I saw a cleaning lady one day and finally left the garbage bins in front of her. Tried to tell her I needed the room cleaned but she only spoke Spanish it seemed. Location is great- a nice walk to a Publix grocery store and a very short drive to a shopping plaza ( retail clothing stores) and Olive Garden. Overall, the hotel looks new and upgraded. There is a basketball court where the kids loved to play, as well as a rec room where they played ping pong and Fussball. Overall, nice hotel but for a 5 day stay , I would have liked the staff to proactively change the towels and clean the room more frequently.
