There are plenty of rooms at this HomeTowne Studios location. Sadly, the room we stayed in was not very clean and only had two lights in the whole room. We had trouble opening the door at first, and realized we had to slam our shoulder against the door to actually get in. The bed had no bed skirt, so the dirty floor was visible the moment we walked in the door. There were stains on the sheets we didn't notice until the morning we checked out. The light above the kitchenette cooktop was not very bright at all, and the bathroom light didn't shine into the main room area very well. Staff were quick to get us checked in, and advised us of where to park given our room location. The security gates remained open the entire stay (we were there 3 nights), which made me wonder why there were gates if they weren't utilized to keep guests' vehicles more secure. This location was directly off 6th Avenue and Kipling, so there was a lot of traffic. We weren't too impressed and hoped that one room was not normal and perhaps the housekeeper wasn't able to fully clean the room.
