This hotel has improved a lot. Many renovations have been completed. More are planned undoubtedly. The staff is friendly; however, another company manages the restaurant, and it is apparent. Rooms were very clean. Mine needed some paint on the door trim, but the rest of the room was new. I would definitely stay there again on business.

Hotel is in a great location in the center of everything in Metairie, close to the Causeway if you're going to the North shore and 10 or 15 minutes to downtown , depending on traffic. The staff was super friendly. We got to town before noon and thought we'd stop at the hotel just to see if we could store our luggage rather than have it in the car when we parked downtown and they had a room ready for us. It's an older hotel that has just had a thorough upgrade. The rooms are a little oddly shaped and the bathroom is a bit tight, but those are minor things. The room and common areas were clean and everything - shower, electronics, etc. worked fine.
