I was really worried by some of the recent reviews but was too late to cancel/change. We went in with little hopes of a decent room. We were surprised. The bed was comfortable, the room mostly clean (need more damp moping as feet got a little dirty), the bathroom was a good size and the staff was nice. ||We stayed in a "garden" suite definitely no real view of the garden.. but the location was good. ||The cons, we were street facing so it was a little loud between 9p and 1130p. The exterior windows were icky desperately need cleaned. The towels are a bit thin and threadbare. But honestly we'd stay here again (as I stayed here a 6 some years ago). Definitely decent, no bugs to speak of, no odd fees like prior posts mentioned just the daily resort fee which is published. ||I would recommend a small fridge would be ideal, and a microwave.... but what do you do...

If you are a privileged snob, this place isn't for you. Please don't expect a lot from the hotel. Staff is friendly but the hotel is dated. It's part of the south beach experience. I slept well on the bed, bathroom is basic. Was told they serve breakfast in the morning but it's only complimentary croissant and coffee from adjacent bistro.
