Our stay was simply wonderful! My family of four stayed at the JW Marriott New Orleans for 5 days over Christmas. I have been to NOLA several times, but this was the first trip for the wife and kids. From looking at a map, I was worried that this location would not be close enough to several French Quarter attractions. However, the location is simply perfect - 2 minutes from Bourbon, but on the other side of Canal so that noise and other disruptions are not an issue. Moreover, this property deserves the highest star rating that exists. Rooms and common areas were immaculate. Last but definitely not least, all of the hospitality professionals went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Annabelle at the front desk and Marc Shuminer showed extraordinary attention and kindness during our stay. They both really made our holiday season. I would easily put this property up against the Ritz or the Roosevelt as the best family friendly hotels in NOLA. This is the only place we will stay in when we return!

Overall, I've been there several times for business trip and room condition itself is not very nice but location is great. Rooms : door drop seal at entry door does not work, so noise comes from outside, other than this, everything was nice. Amenities: fitness is small but nice and well maintained. pool size is too small and dirty. if you are platinum or higher, there is complimentary breakfast at executive lounge, which is great. bar is reasonable compare to name value of JW. Location is great. Main entrance is too small and feels like hidden from public or main road. I recommend booking a room away from elevator, too loud.
