Good location and nice employees. 3 stars because room had a mild tobacco smell. The thick bed sheet had a small blood stain and looked dirty, room service changed them quickly. Part of the carpet next to the coffee machine was very wet.

My wife and I spent our first weekend in New Orleans since moving away from Hawai'i to the south a year ago. We stayed in this quaint, comfortable, affordable place. The staff was friendly, helpful, pleasant, and downright made our experience worthy. There was on-site parking. The streetcar pickup is right out front. There are places to eat within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. It might not be upscale, perfect for some people, but for me, it was perfect enough for my first experience staying in New Orleans.
