The room was very clean and fresh when we arrived. Every interaction we had with staff was great- everyone was professional, pleasant, and helpful. The location was great for a stay in the French Quarter. The only complaint would be Housekeeping. Not the staff themselves, because as I said, all interactions were great. However, the schedule and service was hit/miss. On our second day, Housekeeping came in around 4pm, and only replaced the towels. No more coffee or cups. On the third day, we stopped at the front desk on our way out and asked for towels and turn down service. When we returned, only the towels were replaced, and no turn down service. Also, the empty toilet paper and tissues were not replenished. We had to call and ask for these items. On the fourth and fifth day, we did get turn down service, and coffee. However, we had a plethora of decaf coffee pods and no regular coffee. All these Housekeeping events occurred in the afternoon. Then, on the day we were leaving, they showed up at 9:30am (check out is 11am.) It was a bizarre Housekeeping experience. Again I will reiterate that actual interaction with the staff was great. And while our interactions with security and the doormen was also excellent, I'd like to give a special shout out to Ty. We interacted with him the most, and he gave such great recommendations and tips. "Ty will get you by!!" Overall, it was a really nice stay, and I'd not only stay there again myself, but I'd recommend it to others.
