Reviews based on Cleanliness
The people that work here are very nice but, this Extended Stay is not the greatest. The rooms are what my mom would call "Surface Clean" meaning when you first look at it looks clean but, when you start "really looking" you're going to notice caked up dirt in the corners of the floor and refrigerator is not clean there's either what looks like rust on the outside and inside of the refrigerator but you're not going to want to keep anything in there..the room floor is sticky thank goodness it's not carpeted. bring slippers or flip flops that you'll want to toss later because you're gonna need them . Don't expect a comforter on the bed either .I had to ask for a comforter/ blankets. It's ' Cali Winter " right now you need a comforter...I think they except you to run the heater at night but, I don't need to dry out my sinuses and wake up with a headache.. I would rather have the blanket. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest either. We found what looks like leftover Irish Spring in the shower/tub.. Some one prior mentioned a smell here and they're correct. The elevator had trash in it along with sneaker prints on the elevator door..I'm thinking it's like this because there's not enough people at this location to actually clean it properly. This was probably THE WORST Extended Stay that I've been at. This being located in Orange County, I was kinda expecting the same outcome I get when I'm in Arizona. Clean rooms, No smell, Clean loby, Clean elevator.. other than that the location being close to the fwy and there are options near by for eating. Staff is super nice but, I just think they don't have enough staff to clean it properly..... the reviews prior to my review are 100 percent correct......
Booked two nights and stayed one. I knew we should have left when the elevator was tagged up and the hallway smelled of weed, but the tagging said “I love you” and the kindness lured me in. The hallways were filthy and housekeeping was not a priority. The room was spacious and only smelled a little bad. Nothing some room spray didn’t cover up. The bed had two sheets and no comforter. We used blankets from the car. The hand towels were dirty upon arrival. That’s not even the worst of it. The police showed up across the hall at 10:30pm looking for a missing woman who came up to the room with her boyfriend and had not been seen since. They went on for 45 minutes trying get him to let them into the room to “take a look around.” It was a little hard to sleep after that, but the neighbors alarm clock helped us wake up at 5:30am since it went off for 30 minutes and we could hear it through the paper thin walls. An experience I would not recommend.
