Nice hotel, a little pricey I believe, but mostly because of its location at Ponte Vedra Beach/Sawgrass Golf Course. The room was clean, has the obligatory fridge, microwave and coffee pot. AC worked perfectly. My issues were with the condition of the downstairs area around the restaurant. The bathroom (men’s) was terrible, the floor was so slippery you slid as you tried to walk and the soap dispenser was empty. The wooden floors going in to and in the restaurant were dirty and sticky. We ate dinner there and the food and service was excellent. The room was priced with breakfast which I thought was terrible. I have never had biscuits and gravy that had garlic in them and it was a lot of garlic. It was like last nights sauce for some seafood dish was left over so they used it as gravy. Sorry but that is not gravy. It had cut up sausage links that had no flavor which I have never seen before. Not edible, 2-3 bites and pushed it aside, 1 star for breakfast, 5 stars for dinner. I had a voucher for the breakfast since it was included in the room and the server told me I had to take it to the front desk to get the bill taken care of. That makes no sense to me. If the room has an included breakfast then why was I provided with a bill and then told I needed to get it handled at the desk. Then I had the server come chase me down in the hallway and said after I had it fixed that I needed to bring it back to the restaurant. Hopefully management reads this and changes that policy. All I should have to do is leave the voucher with the server.
